Druid Padel Attends Padel World Summit in Barcelona

Druid Padel was represented at the Padel World Summit in Barcelona last week, one of the leading global meeting points for the international padel industry.

The purpose of the visit was to stay close to the people, products, technologies and ideas shaping the future of the sport, while continuing to benchmark Druid Padel against emerging global best practice.

Across the Summit, it was clear that padel continues to grow strongly as a global participation sport. It was also evident that the industry is entering a more sophisticated phase, with established suppliers, new technologies, player engagement platforms and emerging start-ups all helping to move the sector beyond court construction and into a more professional, experience-led club model.

Several themes stood out for the Druid Padel team:

  • Player loyalty and retention are becoming increasingly central to the club model
  • Technology is playing a bigger role in booking, engagement, coaching, competitions and community
  • Differentiation will increasingly come from the full player experience, not just the quality of the courts
  • The strongest clubs will be those that combine premium facilities, strong operations, data-led decision-making and a genuine sense of belonging

For Druid Padel, these themes align directly with our ambition to build premium, welcoming and community-led clubs across Ireland.

Our brand promise is Play. Grow. Belong. Attending events such as the Padel World Summit helps ensure we continue to deliver on that promise by staying current, building the right partnerships, learning from international best practice and identifying innovations that can enhance the experience for our players, members, corporate clients and future partners.

As padel continues to grow in Ireland and internationally, Druid Padel remains focused on building high-quality clubs that make the sport more accessible, enjoyable and connected for everyone who plays.
